Another loss to a bad team

GG hit a couple of early jumpers, mostly 3's and miracle of miracles he
was actually put in at crunch time with a quick team. He got a
breakaway slam. The crowd was excited, the defensive pressure was
frantic. We were behind by 14 with 3 m to go. He hit a lot of open
jumpers, long and short and a breakaway. Too bad you didn't see it, it
was very exciting. My 2 dogs (Fluffy and Elliot) slept next to me
through the whole game as usual. They turned and gave me some odd
looks. They couldn't understand why I was shouting and Ohhing and
Ahhing and finally in despair.

Still, I think this is the only way we'll see the kids develop. PP by
himself, at his best (and he is a great player) got us to 16th (more
like 20th) in the league in the last 2 years. It took a calamity for
these guys to finally get a chance. Al, GG, Rondo, Telfair and the
others will now get thrown into the fire. They will get a chance to
iron out their kinks and it might get ugly at times, but I believe we
will rise from the ashes. PP too, will adapt and lead this team again.
His transformation is just as difficult.

We do need a bigger man, anybody, at least for a while. Does Stern have
one around to give us? Al and Gomes are doing yoman work with no back
up when their man goes by them. That's not all their fault.

Jorge

I didnt get to see much of the game - but 9 TO from Pierce!!! What the
hell
happened?

Also, in terms of Gerald, were the mostly jumper points or did he take
the
ball to the rack?
