Another loss to a bad team

Some of the comments on this list have been pitiful as well. You'd almost
think that we have had our team 100% healthy all year. People bemoan the
fact that a good team needs more than one player to call all the shots in
crunch time, and then you go an talk about how we can't even beat the Griz
without their one player. I know everyone is frustrated but at least be
consistent about your gripes. Blame it all on Doc...or injuries...or
whatever. Yes we lost tonight but we were without Perk and Wally. Still
Delonte is not playing up to his capabilities yet and we have new faces
still trying to blend in. How could anyone think we were going to be
anywhere else in the standings at this point in the season with the
adversity we're dealing with? I am not apologizing for Doc or Danny but
there are some things to build from. Anyone not like the job Al Jefferson
did tonight? Or how about the defensive pressure applied by Rondo? There
are probably still people here who want to move Gerald Green...not me. I
just don't understand sending messages like the following: Yeah great job
Doc...play Scal some more...Doc must go, etc.
If Danny decides Doc must go, so be it, but if you think he will make a move
because the fans are down on Doc, I doubt that will happen. He'll make a
move if he thinks there is an alternative available who will be able to do a
better job with the team. Danny may well be that guy but hasn't made his
move yet if that is in fact the case. If you read Perks comments in the
paper today, I don't think he is just being the good soldier in trying to
deflect the heat from Doc. I think he truly believes that the players are
the one who should be held accountable for their on court performance. Sure
the coach is always the one to take the fall and I really think Doc may be
on thinner ice than Danny wants us to believe, but it would take a miracle
worker to change the fortunes of this team right now.
Let's assume for a moment that Egg's assertion that several of our players
are "intellectually challenged". What difference will it make if they
change horses in the middle of the stream other than probably confusing
those who may be having trouble grasping basic concepts anyway?
