I thought the idea of bringing in Akingbala was good; minutes later came the news that Perk is out for three weeks.  So, why not?  The kid showed good, if raw, abilities as shot blocker and rugged rebounder.  Five or ten minutes per game wouldn't hurt and we might well need to sign someone like that for the remainder of the year.  Kandi might return to play, but Ratliff is doubtful, imo, from now on.  We need a body and we know this kid.  Actually, we're a week late on this.  Make the call, guys.  Gene
