a literary diversion

I am reading Cell, a Stephen King book recently out in paper. The world is
somehow ending, and our hero is near Malden when he runs across a man in a
Celtics jacket, fighting over a keg of beer. Our hero engages Celtics jacket in
conversation:

"City burning?" the bald man asked. "Is, isn't it?"

"Yes," Clay said. "I don't think the Celtics will be playing at the Fleet
this year."

"They ain't shit anyway," the man said. "Doc Rivers couldn't coach a PAL
team."

The words are all Mr. King's, and literature trumps censorship.

Now back to your regular programming.
