I agree with everything in Egg's latest post (which is unusual because a
lot of times she's over-pessimistic compared to my views).

Delonte's toughness/defensive mindset in the starting lineup will rub
off, and bringing the C's more wins, guaranteed. His efficiency #'s
will go up now that he's going against guys his own size.

Yes Brandon Roy (instead of Telfair) would have been nice. He would've
covered for Paul by bringing the commitment to D & IQ, that Deng & Grant
Hill have. I pray that one of our gunner SF's (Paul,Wally,Gerald), gets
replaced by a two-way swingman that cares as much as Deng/Hill .

PS, I'm thinking the Bulls will beat Mia/Det to get to the finals this
year because Deng, Tyrus Thomas(should have been drafted #1), & Ben are
by far the most athletic/intense defensive frontcourt in the game.
Skiles always has that ENTIRE team scrambling w/ Obie effort to get
stops. Wish Danny had snagged his old assistant before Chi did.

Ryan's the only core Celtic that didn't fold , and matched their tough
attitude.

I certainly would have preferred last
season's West at PG and Brandon Roy (post injury) at SG to
this season's Telfair at PG and West at SG. I'm not surprised
that the team is contemplating moving West back to the PG
position. Three (West/Telfair/Rondo) has been a crowd while
we have been suffering from an inadequate number of BIGS.
Such an almost laughable unbalanced roster.

THE BULLS
Chicago is looking more and more like the team I thought they
would be. So many wonderful, heads-on-straight young players.
Hinrich, Deng, Nocioni, Gordon, Duhon .... they all seem to
"get it." We have plenty of good coaches, too, such as Clifford
Ray. Yet few of our young players seem to "get it" even after
three or four seasons. The fault of our coaches ... I don't
think so.
