Catching up

To reiterate, I would play the players who present the
best matchup during the game at hand, regardless of
good or bad practice showings. It's not about
security, it's about putting players in positions
where they can help the team win. I'm sure Paul
regularly beats Tony or Gerald in practice, but that's
not a reason not to play them when what they bring
might help during a certain game. Again, Doc shows
absolutely no imagination when it comes to using his
players. Are you telling me Nellie couldn't find
places for Telfair, Green, and Allen to shine?
As for the young guys not being smart enough to run a
play, I say bullshit. Basketball is easy and most of
these guys have been playing 10+ years, they know how
to run plays and listen to what the coach says. It's
not them, it's the coach. Communication is a two-way
street, and the sign on Doc's face reads "Dead End."
