I think Doc has explained that.  Scal is doing better in practice  than Powe. 
  When you sit the better guy, why should anybody practice  hard if they 
think the coach is just going to play his favorites.  And what  coach in his right 
mind would play a guy based on "someday"?  If he does,  he's playing 
favorites.  When Powe starts beating Scal in practice maybe  we'll see more of him.  
I'm no apologist for Doc but seriously, that's the  right way to coach.  A 
player has to earn his minutes, not just be given  them.
