Uhhh, yeah...and I'm the first person to ever do it on this list, right?
LOL

>You get to take the list of players taken after his pick and selctively
choose only those that have had some success. To put it in perspective, why
don't you list all the duds that he >didn't pick but were taken by other teams?

Two comments: (1) I was quoting from someone else's post and (2) the dude
who posted it listed all the duds Danny DID take. WTF more do you want?

As the original poster pointed out (on JB's list), drafting high school
players is a much bigger gamble than drafting college players. Why? Well, two
reasons: first, college ball is more like NBA ball than high school ball is
and second, 1-2-3-4 years of college ball gives you a much bigger sample of
the player's ability. Of course, Danny (with the help of the Brain Doc)
doesn't need that extra sample because he's such a *great* drafter.

I'm not an Ainge hater (as I've said many times "I loved him as a player and
was quite sorry to see him traded.") but he just not a good GM IMO. Yeah,
hindsight is 20/20 but what do we have to go on except his record? And
AFAICS, his record is pretty fing dismal. But yeah, that's hindsight all right.
As the years go by with little or no improvement, I wonder how long the owners
are going to put up with Celtic mediocrity.
