Same as it ever was

I didn't know Eddie was still alive, let alone teaching courses. It is a valid point whether or not you choose to debate it
I keep reading here about how much of detriment Paul Pierce is to this team when , in fact, Wally hurts in all kinds of ways. Mostly with his selfish play.

Of course that is actually an entirely new question, not a "way" of
thinking about the prior point.
I'm not sure that the difference in win total would be all that
significant on this team, if you want the truth. We've shown
ourselves quite capable of losing with regularity without either of
them. But if you're trying to make the point that Pierce is a more
all around player, no argument. He wins that on defense alone, even
if he doesn't always play that as well as he could or should. Doesn't
change the passing point you were wrong about, of course... maybe
you've been taking the correspondence course version of the Eddie
Andleman School of Debate (switch the debate you are losing/were
wrong about to an only peripherally related point that you know you
are right about and can "win" and thereby make it out that you've
"won" the entire debate and were right about everything all along)?
You might want to re-do the practice tests in the back of the book.

Mmmm, why am I not shocked by this.
