He is making a lot of money, but a dynamic performer when healthy. IF we gave up Ratliff, Powe & Allen for him that would work. I think Baron and Paul would really gel

Why not trade for Baron Davis?
Seems like he's available at a reasonable price,
perhaps something like Ratliff, Rondo, and Allen
or Ratliff, Rondo, and Scalabrine for him.
He's produced at an All Star Level in the past.
He's a Friend of Paul.
He's likely to be on his best behavior after being
dealt.
He can be switched over to SG with Telfair at the
point.
Sets up a dynamic three guard rotation of Telfair,
Davis, and West.
Moves Pierce to SF and Wally gets moved in some deal
for a PF.
And Ainge and the Celtics basically have no choice
but to take a chance on someone like Davis.
The young players have been exposed as overrated and
injured.
This has been one of the dullest offseasons in Celtics
History.
And they don't have the goods to acquire a Surefire
Superstar like Garnett - they're easily outbid by the
Bulls and other clubs who have much more talented
young players.
So, why not take a chance on Davis and hope that a
change of scenery and playing with his friend Paul,
will see him produce at past All Star levels?
