News and notes

Kim pretty much answered this better than I would have.

As for meeting Telfair and Harrington ... Ask Harrington if there's
anything going on with the Celtics. Sounds like it was just an
agent-fueled rumor and Al is right back where he started -- negotiating
with Indiana. Telfair ... Ask him if they've discussed the lineup with
him. Will Pierce be playing any Marion-like PF?

If a player -- any player -- says he is experienceing crippling
pain, that should be respected. Jefferson is apparently in
a cast of some kind, not "taking it easy." I suspect that they
did take out bone chips, but didn't say anything in order to
not harm his trade value...in any case, there is not the slightest
reason to think Jefferson would be faking ankle pain to earn
himself an extra few hours on the couch. That's idiotic, the
same kind of thinking that ruined Andrey Toney's career and
who knows how many others. I only hope there were bone
chips and that they are all gone.

On another note, I'll be meeting Sebastian Telfair and Al
Harrington tonight...any questions you think I should ask
them?

Josh
