It's all good

It's going to be tough. The Nene contract screwed things up for
everyone. I'm sure Perk's agent is looking at that and asking for those
kinds of numbers. I'm sure Danny is pitching something far less. It's a
dangerous thing.
Hopefully Perk will play so well this season he'll make them happy to
give him the big money. Because we all know he's the kind of kid who
will work at it. If he starts getting consistent results, you can't ask
for much more from a young starting center.

Does anybody here think that Perk is worth more than the mid level? I
mean
right now. Last season he averaged 20 minutes, 5 points, 6 rebounds,
1.5
blocks and 3 fouls. Let's say he can double the time, just to make it
easy.
<g> That would mean fouling out in 40 minutes, with 10 points, 12
rebounds
and 3 blocks. I'd certainly give him 6/$42 for that, if his D is
decent.
Maybe more. But the question is "right now". Right now, I'd strain to
give
him the mid level. I guess if I was his agent I wouldn't rush to get
him
signed.
