It's all good ... now and forever

Even if Ainge makes no further improvements or additions to our
present unbalanced roster, this will be a very interesting, no-lose
season.

The parity among the middle-of-the-pack Eastern Division teams
will make every game exciting and important. For what team has
a better chance of grabbing the last playoff spot than us, and what
team has a better chance of finishing last than us?

We should begin to get a clear picture of the actual talent
level/future worth of our premier trading chips ... a.k.a. young
prospects ... Perkins, Jefferson, West, Telfair, Allen, Gomes, Green.
With most having been born in the cellar of the drafts, will they
end up living in a garret or a penthouse? Entering his fourth
season, Perkins will be our first re-sign test case.

And here's the best thing about the upcoming season. Even if
after 62 games, the composition of Ainge's present team turns
out to be as deadly as a canker to a rose, it will all still smell good.
For loyal, patient Celt fans will once again simply switch gears.
They will become even more optimistic, looking forward with glee
to grabbing a topnotch lottery player in a strong draft year.
And so it goes... from year to year to year.
