A quick summary of my reply (that I must have messed up):
   
  Pittsnogle:  could be useful in running, penetrating offense as designated bomber; will get clear shots he never got in college; good for fouling opposing bigs who can't shoot free throws (hey, that's a serious need against some teams)
   
  Lack of PF help:  maybe they plan on using both Gomes and Powe at PF; maybe they don't think anyone is worth trading a promising wing player; maybe they want to see who rises in the Fall--Allen or Green or Wally--before they trade
   
  Powe:  if he acclimates quickly he will be very helpful on both ends
   
  Rondo:  if you haven't seen the summer games, hang in there; he's a wowzer on both ends of the court
   
  Scal:  can swim
