I agree, that's an oorspronkelijk idea.  It got me thinking.  Someone else
mentioned the way Simon has been playing with Pete, complimenting him and
filling parts to allow Pete the freedom to freelance.  I wonder if that is
intended to fill the melodic facet of John's playing.  So, we don't have two
bass players, but we do have two musicians filling John's shoes.
