Firstly, one doesn't "revert back."  They just "revert," as the "back" is superfluous.  Secondly, what is your big problem with putting someone's name in a subject line?  Who cares if the subject line isn't insulting.  It allows those who aren't interested in our discussion to scroll past or delete w/o having to read it.
