Re: jimmy(sp?) page doing windmills

I have seen that tape and occasionally listen the audio. What I find
enjoyable about it is how raw it sounds and how it under-rehearsed they
were. Makes you kind of think you are at a Who show.:-)

Okay, before everyone throws tomatoes at me...the Who will sound better
unrehearsed than a reunited Led Zep.

Anniversary show. An absolutely atrocious version of Kashmir. Not one shot
of Jones on the keyboard. Plant's voice was TERRIBLE!! It sounded better
at MSG in 2002. Maybe the audio on the clip was bad, but Page's guitar
sounded dreadfully thin and weak. In any event, at one point Page did
downward windmills w/o hitting the strings, then did just a regular strum.
Sort of fake windmills like Pete sometimes does prior to a single windmill
(see Baba O on TKAA). Was kinda cheesy on Page's part, IMO. Zep never
shoulda done it. It just wasn't there anymore. Good decision not to
reunite again.
