actually, I quite enjoyed your "ranting". ha!   another view of the idea and 
I really appreciate your compliments and suggestions (I also appreciate 
everyone else's comments as well) 

by the way, I don't think the who played MSG in 1989. you were probably 
thinking of radio city music hall for that was a charity gig before they headed to 
giants stadium on the tour.  there are audio boots out there of that show (it 
was a radio broadcast) and I think there's even a cam shot as well!   

it seems everyone dosen't like the L.A. 89 show but apparently there's no 
other record of a show like that. they did this same show at the royal albert 
hall in London but theres no "official" release of that anywhere.  I think a show 
like that (with the guests and all, and the screen projections, and the fact 
that its "tommy") would be interesting to add onto a DVD set like the one I 
suggested.  if you think it wasn't a real who audience, well, that's what the 
giants stadium addition was for! : )  I've compiled (to my best knowledge 
anyway) a volume one DVD compilation of material from 1966-1982 and will drop it in 
the group in a seperate e-mail.  the compilations are of pro shot boot 
material that I am aware of so if I missed something, you'll know why.
