Let go of my hand!

There's a first!

>Maybe I *will* do that survey.

Wow, some inspiration.
Maybe?
Don't be such a puss!
Pete's being balls out, why not you?

Yeah, but the man is purposely putting up speed bumps!
It boarders on self destructive behavior.
Why?

Man, we've just barely gotten past the Rough Boy homosexuality thing.
After 20 years of ridicule, and snickers.
Now, this.
Man, being a Who fan can suck at times.
Why not swallow some of that "right", and do what's best for his new work, The Who, etc.
Why put yourself through this?

That's because he's right here with me.
Let me get him up to the keyboard....

Scott? This is Pete.
Shut the fuck up, stop being such a bleeding puss, and defend my honor.
After all, I don't have a problem with it. Why do you?
Here, kiss my ring.

This is the only conclusion I can come to as well.

This is the part that I fear.
Making decisions in anger is not the best thing to do, let alone for a business.
And, make no mistake, The Who is a business.
And what, has Roger lost control? ;-)
Is he "done with that man" ? ;-)

I joke, but I'm really curious as to Roger's reaction to this title.
I can't help but feel that Roger is a more prudent person when it comes to the business side of The Who.
Why am I thinking this?
Any past evidence to this effect that I'm not remembering?

Yep, and look what it got him. Hanging on a cross. Crucified.

>Are you self-destructive or what?"

Pete's not Jesus out to save the world (I'm not saying you're saying that), but yes, the question does need to be asked.

Kathleen in Memphis, showing Schrade in Akron how to swing the balls! ;-)
Good for you!

>My reaction...probably a little bit of all three.

Mine as well.

Here are a couple more reactions I've run into:

My co-worker (not a Who fan, but has been kept in the loop on happenings ;-):
<sad laughter> "why would he do that? Oh God, that seems self-defeating. I don't get it."

A good friend (More of a Pete fan than Who fan. Has Pete's solo album Deep End Live, so...):
"No. Noooooooooooooo! Why? Whyyyyyyyyyyy???? Oh shit, Pete's lost it. Are you fucking with me???? You're kidding! Nooooooooooo! Oh man, I'm sorry for you, Kevin! Bahahaha!"

Yep, they know.
Being a Who fan can suck some times.

Just a generic shout out to all on this list....
I'm proud that people are standing up and expressing their opinions, no matter where they may fall.
I don't want to see this list become a place where only "pro", or only "supportive" thoughts are allowed, and anything resembling criticism is ridiculed and stifled.
Jo, this wasn't directed at you at all.
Rather, just pointing out a big difference between this list of good flowing opinions and Who discussion, and other lists where such things are poo-pooed, criticized, and ultimately stifled for fear of upsetting the hand holding. And then you're left with.....hand holding.
<getting off my chair>
