and, I'll try and keep an open mind about Pete.  But, I look at it like this:

I'll use my best girlfriend for an example.  I know she isn't perfect, I 
won't argue that she is.  
But, if someone puts her down, I am going to stand by her and stick up for 
her.  If someone were to call her a gossip, for example, I am not going to agree 
with them, even if she has been gossipy.  I am going show my loyalty by 
defending her.  I would do the same for my family.  I would do the same for Pete.

That is how I show my loyalty.  Everyone has their own way of showing it I 
suppose.  I am certainly not going to attempt to question anyone on this lists 
loyalty (I *try* and learn from my mistakes).  Everyone shows it in their own 
way.
