In addition to the ones you already have, I have One of the Boys, Ride a Rock
Horse and Rocks in the Head. Although his style is definitely different on
his solo albums, his voice sounds great and some of the tunes are kinda snappy.
There is this song on One of the Boys, that makes me cry everytime called
Leon. Avenging Annie is a good one. On Ride a Rock Horse, I love "It's a hard
life" and Milk Train. There are a few more that I really like, but don't have
in front of me right now.
Oops, I have one more: Can't wait to see the movie. As a whole, this is my
least favorite Daltrey album (which is still better than any non-Who IMHO).
However, the song "Balance on the Wires" is a song I like to play/sing to vent
my anger.
My favorite album by John is hands down "Smash your head against the wall."
But, Too Late the Hero, the album.....the song"Talk Dirty" is one of my favs.
Oh, non-Who.......I heard Tim Burton is doing a re-make of Willy Wonka and
the Chocolate Factory. After seeing "Nightmare before Christmas" by Burton,
Willy Wonka should be awesome. I wonder if Danny Elfman (Oingo Boingo and many
awesome soundtracks to movies) will write the music?.........he is brilliant,
IMHO. Speaking of Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo....remember the song "I, I, I
like little girls they make me feel so good....I like, little girls they make
me feel so bad, when their around me, make me feel like I am the only guy in
town....etc.".......and they accuse Pete of being a Pedophile??....Sheez. God
forbid they catch him (Elfman) looking at child porn on the internet.
Oh, one more thing........After watching VH1, I like to throw in a name of
someone who could play Keith Moon: think lead singer Anthony Kiedis, of Red Hot
Chili Peppers. What is the status of that project of Roger's, anyone know?
I have learned alot about ebay recently. I easily found Rocks in the Head
for .99! Of course it was like $4.00 shipping....grrrrrrr.
Sincerely,
Jo
