Pervy Pete's no innocent PETE TOWNSHEND only gets an
official caution for accessing kiddie porn.

Apparently, there are so many thousands in this
country doing the same that the courts would be unable
to prosecute them all.

Townshend's excuse is that he was researching the
subject as part of his campaign against child
pornography.

Gosh, how public-spirited of him and all those other
"researchers" who, of course, didn't just happen on
these sites, but had to pay filthy lucre to enter
them.

However, let's stop calling the trade porn.

Porn is girls getting their bits out for the lads. It
may not be particularly nice and sometimes it is
downright nasty, but it's by adults for adults.

What Townshend and his pervy chums were "researching"
is something much, much worse. They are paying to
watch the sexual use, abuse and degradation of little
children.

So let's not call it porn, but what it is -
paedophilia.

The fact that it is by proxy makes it no better.

Because sometime, somewhere, it really did happen to
some innocent child.
