Hello,
It is interesting that some people either love or hate "Blue, Red and Grey".
I guess strictly on the merits of it being a "Who" song, it doesn't stand up
very well. I think it would appeal more to the sensitive soul or artist,
then to the head banger-type "Who" fan.
But, when I listen to the words, and having been lucky enough to notice the
"blue, red and grey" and being incredible moved by it, the song addresses
that. I also remember the days of partying until the sun comes
up.........and now I live in the days when I am up before the sun comes
up........to me the song speaks of that. I guess you have to be a "sky" kind
of person too. If you're one that stops and appreciates a beautiful cloud
formation, the color of the sky, sunrises and sunsets.........
This morning, before I even thought about this......I was laying in bed. It
is a rainy day and my room had a certain, sad but alive shadow to it. I
thought, damn it, if I was a songwriter, I could write a song about this
morning.........
Love,
Jo
