harmony and understanding :-)

I am completely out of politics. Always was. "Hair" is not politics. It`s
about how unfair war is.
 Okay. This is a
Who list, and the Who are great great great. I don`t argue with that. But
how would it feel when you`re driving a car and the gasoline that makes the
engine work is made of Iraque oil and thus is the cost of many people`s
lives? It`s not about politics, it`s about life and death. Politics is a big
and unfair game. I`m just trying to say that nobody should die, and the
death of one Iraque citizen is equal to the death to one American citizen
and so on. I don`t know what each of you here on this list thinks about this
war, but, be it the Who list or not, we can`t ignore the fact that our life
is going deeper into tragedy. It would be a blasphemy to say, let the world
ruin around me, let everybody die, I have my Who, and I`m happy. Wasn`t
September 11 a tragedy enough? One of my American friends lost her friends
in that tragedy: they were on the plain that hit the Pentagon. Is it
politics? It`s life. Something happens, and then it can never be undone, the
dead can never be brought back and live, and we here on the Who list and
elsewhere are people who live in that world. How would you like your
well-being be built on other people`s bones? Okay.
If you want something Who-related, here`s a question: how does Pete (Roger)
feel about the war? Okay, don`t take it all too serious, enjoy your Who
list. And please mr List Owner, sir, forgive my trying to lead everybody
astray.
