WHO STAR FURY OVER RAID TAPES
ROCK legend Pete Townshend is furious that mastertapes
of his next album have been impounded by police
investigating him over child porn allegations.
The 57-year-old Who star and band colleague Roger
Daltrey, 58, want to release the record in tribute to
late bandmate John Entwistle.
The album was due for release by the summer but it may
be put back until the end of the year.
A source close to the band said: "They've no idea when
they'll get the tapes back."
Cops raided Townshend's home in Richmond, south
London, in January. He is expected to get a police
caution after admitting accessing a site for research.
