No, IMO it shouldn't be on the list.  It's not a concrete enough water image -
just the word "rippling."

I understand your "flow" concept (well, *Pete's* flow concept) but we're looking
for more concrete examples of water imagery.  Words that instantly bring water 
to mind.  

Speaking of "Pure & Easy," I even checked the PT demo version because that 
has an extra verse I *thought* might contain the line "flowing & flowing each
man in its wake," which *would've* counted - "flowing" & "wake."  

But on listening to it, the lines actually are:

Today is the day, this sound travels mountains
Blowing & blowing each man in its wake

Blowing.

"Pure & Easy" doesn't make the list.  I'm sorry.
