I want this statement retracted, too!  ;-)  IMO, John had a 
very humorous & fun outlook on life.  Negative?  No way.
People with a "negative slant on life" don't embrace it the
way John Entwistle did.  He didn't exactly hide away in his
mansion with all the curtains drawn.  The guy was out on the 
road touring nearly all the time!
