This is a great way for Pete to dip his big toe in the water, as it were. I think this Rachel girl is good for Pete in more ways than one. This is all speculation on my part, but I can imagine that her pleading to return to the studio for his own sake would not work, so she asked for his help. Clever girl! This is all my very humble opinion.
