Re: The best Drowned I ever had

Well, my favorite version isn't exactly a mp3 file, but a ram file (for Real Player).

It has 5 minutes and 10 seconds of length, that from 2:30 till 3:00 goes with a solo in an old blues tradition I only heard there, and that from 4:15 till 4:35 goes with an arpeggio in classic spanish tradition, with key change too, that is simply astonishing. The song ends at 5:00, and till 5:10 there is Pete saying "it is another song from Quadrophenia, Cut my Hair".

Maybe this song is from 1996 shows from Quadrophenia, as Joe mentioned, that is after the bike accident...

I wonder, why didn't PT join with Al DiMeola, Paco DeLucia and John McLaughlin on "Friday Night in San Francisco"? It would be just fantastic, an extensive prove of his excellence on guitar, denied only by fools and ignorant people....

Well, the best version is that SECRET POLICEMAN'S BALL version that Joe mentioned (c.1980), but did Pete ever put that up as an MP3? I don't recall that.

He put up an MP3 of "Drowned" from West Palm Beach, on the 2000 tour.
Maybe that's it.
