Hey, it was "let your tears *flow*."  I really didn't think tears by
themselves should count, but in the context of them flowing and being used
as a symbol for the passing of time ("let your past go"), I thought it was
appropriate.

I *did*, of course then you went and let in "like a breath, rippling by."
If I were to describe the feeling that song, and that line in particular,
gives me, it would be airy or breezy.  I get no water vibes from it.  I get
exactly what ML says in his post.

To me, that's just a cliche that expresses someone who's taking chances.  No
imagery there at all, but if there was, it would be a watery one.

Basically, I agree.  It should depend on the context.  *Anything* flowing
like a river should be included, no?

Well, if we really don't like your decision, we can add our line to the list
when it's done and not tell you!  I, for one, will be removing *rippling*,
that's for sure.  As far as the master list goes, I say you make the calls.
