old friend defends Pete

"Writer/producer Martin Lewis has been a friend of
Pete Townshend for over 30 years. He has also worked
with him as a producer. 

Lewis is 100% convinced of the integrity of Pete
Townshend. He is passionately vocal in his defense of
Pete Townshend." 

Lewis was involved in the production of the original
Secret Policeman's Ball concert for Amnesty
International in the late 1970s, at which Pete did
acoustic versions of Drowned and WGFA.

I saw Lewis' defense of Pete on the Connie Chung show
on CNN on Jan. 14th and was impressed and grateful for
his remarks.  On his website he's a bit of a
name-dropper but the important thing is that he
supports Pete and is getting the word out.
