Re: A whole generation fooled by guitarist Townshend!



There`s one thing I don`t understand about this mess (well in fact there are
many, this one is just one of them) is some people now carrying the flag of
"having been fooled" by Pete Townshend. Even if (oh sorry, a big IF !!!!!!!)
the ugly thing about Pete is true this does not at all mean he ever fooled
any *generation*! When people declare they`ve been decieved and the memories
of their youth were trampled into the mud they absolutely forget that Pete,
in the first place, isn`t a rock`n`roll icon, but a human. In the course of
time people change. Pete never planned this to happen in his life when he
was a boy (did his Mom admit it after all?;-) in his twenties and wrote my
generation and pictures of lily...
