It's amazing that Pete can be so villified before he is even charged with 
anything and after a spotless record in this area, yet Elvis and Lewis 
basically get a pass despite having sex with and marrying underage girls.  
This may be less true for Lewis, but oldies DJs never hesitate to play his 
music and, until recently, he was still performing.  Both men committed 
statutory rape, unless one naively believes that both waited until after 
their wedding days.  It is a travesty that Pete pays a price for setting 
such a high standard for himself, and that society views the actions of 
individuals in a more critical light based on whether the police are 
involved, rather than on right and wrong.  Hang in there Pete, it's just 
another tricky day.  We're with you.
