Johnny Depp is an admitted one.  He dedicated his performance in Pirates of the Carribean to Keith Moon (and one can plainly tell by the performance).  Depp portrayed the character like Keith in many ways in this film.

Cameron Crowe, director of Almost Famous, apparently toured with the Who as a reporter for Rolling Stone in the 70s and puts a Who tune in almost all of his movies.

Tommy Robredo, a young tennis phenom from Spain (or Portugal), is named for the rock opera Tommy.
