The Who to play the Isle of Wight Festival 

It has been announced that the band will headline the 2004 Isle of Wight
festival on June 12. The Who will be the top act on the mid day of the three
day event. Other headline bands announced are: Stereophonics (June 11) and
David Bowie (June 13)

The historic Isle Of Wight Festival kicks off the summer of 2004 with the
biggest acts and the best location. The Who are returning to their roots for
a headline performance this summer on Saturday 12th June, and The
Stereophonics are confirmed to headline on Friday 11th.

The Who played a classic set at The Isle Of Wight Festival back in 1970.
