Hey there good people of IGTC, and Jo....
(HA! I kill me! Just kidding Jo!)
I've been a bit pre-occupied as of late.
Sorry for my absence (not that you missed me!).
Been struck down with a nasty head cold (anyone got any crackers to go
with these oysters??), and of course it's the busy season.
But, that hasn't stopped me from hitting the big snows we've had up here.
Last week, 29".
This week, another 2 feet.
Jay Peak, an hour north, got 40" Monday!
Hear that Joe???
Get yer butt up to VT!
Steve in "snowy Canada" sounds like he must be in Montreal.
He knows of what I speak.
I've had some of the best rides of my life in just the past two weeks.
Waist deep snow. Did some extensive hiking to get to the prime runs that
were still closed.
6000+ vert. (total) of untracked double black diamonds. Yummm.
But, with the fun also comes the work. Have spent more time plowing and
shoveling than I care to at this time of year.
End result.....pass the tissues and Theraflu.
But, I digress....('cause I know this bores the shit out of flat-landers
in places like....O-HIGH-O. ;-)
I CAN'T FIND IT!
My Face Dances CD is missing.
I'm sure it's hidden in some obscure blues Cd case of my wife's, but I
just don't have the time at the moment to go searching through our entire
collection.
But, glad to see the discussion is going well.
I'm leaving tomorrow for our annual pilgrimage south to Baltimore and
Washington to spend X-mas with the rentals.
Joe, I'll wave to you from the Garden throughway.
Hope the shoulder is doing well. Glad the p-p made it. Not a fun feeling
to have a numb member, is it??! ;-)
I'll say hey to Stu in MD for yaz, and also my Who-buddy Mike whom you met
at Camden as well.
Cousin Schrade, I look to you to choose the next Who Album of the week if
you like. Make it a goodie!
And, with that, I wish each and every one of you (you too Jo!) a fantastic
holiday season.
I truly hope that you're able to spend it how you like, and with those
that you like.
Eat, drink and be merry!
Have a happy holidays everyone!
Kevin in VT
