The WN era was his peak.  

He sounded pretty darn good at the end of the 2000 tour compared to the 
beginning of it.  His voice on BTTB was not nearly as good as it was at the RAH 
show.  There are many factors that come into play with a human voice when using 
it to power the hotrod called The Who.
