Well, the film doesn't need to see every incident.  Many were repetitious, such as the trashing of hotel rooms.  A montage of off stage tour antics could drive the point home.  Each car incident wouldn't need to be there, but one of the car in the pool incidents and the limo driver incident would suffice.

His touring life with the Who could be limited to two: one in the 60s and one in the 70s, to show the contrast as his life spiraled downward.  Great film makers are able to make such decisions.  It is always impossible to catch everything in a bio-pic.  It may indeed be impossible to re-create the true essence of a character like Keith Moon in any film.  That being stated, a good film which gives people some insight into the emotion, talent, and character of the man is possible.

Roger's most important decision will be in the producer.
