My new favorite major league baseball player is JT Snow, 1st baseman for the SF Giants.  Each time he comes to bat, the unmistakeable Daltrey scream from WGFA is heard and a bit of the song follows.  From what I know, players are allowed to choose their "theme" music when they are announced as the next batter.  I witnessed it when attending my first real MLB game at PAC BELL park in SF.  It was pretty damn cool.
