I have.
We might be getting dry speeches, but they would be intelligent, and would be using complete sentences with real words.  You would also have a leader.  Not a puppet.

How do Chaeney and Rumsfeld get their hand in George's back like that?

Regarding the economy, current mid-east relations, not to mention relations with the entire world, I'm pretty sure others on this list will gladly point out the obvious advantages of having the person who most people wanted in The White House, Gore, be there.
