RE: Recent Daltrey Interview

Kevin,

<I think what we're going to see is a great new Pete solo album.>

I couldn't agree more. This is the same thing that I was thinking after
reading that interview. John's death must have Pete and Roger feeling that
life is too short. Pete has too much to say not to release another solo
album of new material. Plus, I think that a new Who album is now WAY too
much pressure. I can't imagine that even Roger feels like a new Who album
is possible now that both Keith and John are gone. Sigh... But I would
happily receive a new Pete album!

But for now:
Regarding Boston II, I'm hoping to arrive in the parking lot much earlier to
party with George and his balloons, and the rest of the gang! I'm also
hoping to go to Simon's show at the House of Blues the night beforehand.
Anyone else? I know Jeff said that he was going.

Moving off-topic for a bit: Joe Jackson has reunited his original band
after twenty-five years and they are doing some warm-up gigs in the UK this
month in preparation for a new album and US tour next year. Just wondering
if any UK listers are going to these shows and/or if they would mind sending
a review. Please e-mail me privately: koconnor@importproducts.com. Thanks.

Peace,

K

I don't think we've heard Roger say this ever......

"Pete and I have had no discussions of anything. We're trying to get
through this tour best we can, one day at a
time,
and make sure the shows are great," he said. "We're playing it as
though
the band ends in Toronto on Sept. 28."

A far cry from the rumors posted on pt.com and also the manager interview
after Detroit.

And the following is some insight on what may be guiding their future
decisions:

"It's the days off that are hard. I did speak to Pete about that, and
he
finds it the same, that the days off are
killing
 him."

I think what we're going to see is a great new Pete solo album.
