more on Stones

I don't listen to The Stones.  If they are around (which their marketing
machine ensures that they are) I may find it necessary to listen.

I watched a bit of "Gimme Shelter" a few weeks ago.  I've not seen any of it
for many years.  I was killing time in a motel in the early afternoon before
the Jones Beach Who show.  I was pretty keyed up, but I had to kill some
time.  "Gimme Shelter" was on the tube and it put me to sleep.  The music in
that movie is boring.  No - I did not compare it to The Who @ Jones Beach
;-)

Now on to some semantics :-)  "The World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band"
title always makes me think of P.T. Barnum.  I don't get any more upset with
the title "Greatest Show on Earth" than I do about The Stones
self-proclaimed title.  It is packaging, nothing more.
