The Who: The Who Live: Denver, Colorado, Sept. 19,
2002: Following the lead of their pals in Pearl Jam,
The Who have chosen to record and release each show
from the current tour, including this date at
Fiddler's Green.

The upside: These are unsweetened, raw, full shows
(for the most part), capturing a great tour from the
soundboard. The downside: To crank these out quickly,
these are recorded straight from the soundboard, and
the mixes are very raw (and apparently un-fixable).
Roger Daltrey's voice is mixed too low in nearly every
release, including Denver.

Still, the sound is otherwise strong, from Barry Fey's
opening intro to Pete Townshend's hammering guitar
work in 5:15 to the sweetly sung new verses added to
The Kids Are Alright, sung by Daltrey and Townshend.
