Well, if Clinton's speeches inspired you like that, then they did some
good. Just out of curiosity, what did you think of Bush's first major
post-9/11 speech, the one he gave before both houses of Congress?

As for "getting us into WW III," I think we're already in it (albeit,
kind of like a slo-mo thing). We've been in it since September 11,
2001. Radical Islamofascists (as opposed to normal Muslims) declared
war on us some time ago, but we chose to ignore the seriousness of it
until a little over six months ago. Make no mistake about it -- we're
in a war right now. I saw it up close and personal that morning, and
was nearly killed (just pure luck that where I was, only glass was
showered on us, instead of flaming plane parts). And it was far more
gruesome and horrific than anything I've seen in photos and video/film
footage.

I don't recall Bush threatening anyone with nukes, regardless of any
country's income level. In fact, I'm not quite sure what poverty
levels have to do with this.

True, but "nuc-u-lar" is hardly a rare thing among politicians. And as
I think I said earlier, far too many of them can't pronounce "social
security" either. :-)
