Acetates are copies that are made in the studio before the final version is
released.   They are heavier and thicker than normal records.  These would
have formed the original single (Doctor Doctor/pictures of Lily); they are
two singles on LP sized records.  No label apart from hand written ones.  No
grooves on one side of the record.   I attach a couple of scans to show you
what one of them looks like.
