High profile Who- getting good seats
At work today the guys had on the regular current rock station, as usual.
The Who were all over it. The tickets go on sale here (Detroit) tomorrow
morning at 10.00 am, so they are promoting it big. I am so proud of them.
The volume of compliments for the band being great was high. The talk was
about Pete back on electric.
My first wife even e-mailed me to make sure that I had the money (I do) to
get the best seats, as she heard how cool they are again in the public eye.
That's funny. My Who T- shirt is what caught her attention when we met 20
years ago. That was the ice breaker that lead to our first date, as she was
a Who fan as well. Damn divorce.
(Yeah Mark, I know first hand about busted hearts. I also love the song
Sunrise).
In 2000, I was 3rd in line at the record store and ended up paying the top
price for 8 tickets that were floor seats but were so far back on the floor
that we had to stand on our seats to see it. I think that it may be because
I got 8 together, so it went way far back. I might try 2 best and 6 medium
this time. Any advice? How about on-line?
