a little research

I've had the time and inclination to do a little research tonight, and
here are some interesting results: Sales ranks for TED from
Amazon.co.uk (always different from Amazon.com). For a band that's not
especially popular in the UK, their videos are doing unusually well.

Thirty Years of Maximum R&B 520
The Who at Isle of Wight 598
The Who Live a RAH 935
Who's Better Who's Best 7660
Who's Next 8292

Here are the results for the solo videos:

Pete:
Lifehouse 6972
The Secret Policeman's Ball 8726
Pete Townshend Live 12964

Roger:
McVicar 1431
Tommy 2557
Like It Is 4481
The Legacy 8465
Leprechauns 9396
British Rock Symphony 10145

John:
None listed

It's interesting that McVicar sells so well after all these years. Is
that a meaure of artistic merit, or just that UK citizens are
fascinated by gritty crime drama?
