Long Live The Who!

To all list contributors:

Please resist temptations to be critical of the upcoming tour. The Who live
through their music. Always have. John Entwistle lived through the music -
as did Keith Moon. The Who's fans are inspired by their music. And, The Who
have always beat to their own drum. Townshend (who Daltrey gave the final
decision on what to do next) is a cranky & pessimistic genius of a
personality who might give a crap what the media or outsiders think. He can
sure put his foot down his throat regularly, but he definitely does what he
believes - and this should be respected.

This Who tour will be an emotional memorial to a nearly 40 year
relationship.
Tomorrow, Monday at the Hollywood Bowl, will rank among the most emotionally
clouded of concerts The Who has ever played.....along with the tour
following Moon's death and the dates following the stampede death of fans in
Cincinnati prior. 

God only knows what to expect. But expect something you will not ever forget

One thing for certain, nothing is ever a surprise in The Who's history.
