Anticipation

From: "Scott Schrade" <schrade@akrobiz.com>
"Was that Buck or Jeff? :-) Who are you?"

I'm thinking that maybe it was Mark ;-)

Besides, that Jeff guy is a major league pussy. He doesn't seem too smart either. In fact, I'll bet he's a facist, Led-Zep-loving, masturbating monkey boy. I hope to meet up with him on this leg of the tour. I'll kick his fuckin' head in!

"I just don't think, after John's passing, that they'll get too ambitious with the set list. Of course, I'll probably be proven wrong."

Does this mean you're feeling a sense of danger about this? Is there some suspense to this tour for you?

Here's a bit that Simon Townshend wrote on his website when someone asked how they get by with so little rehearsing: "It's like riding a bike. I know all the Who songs from memory and just need a quick run through to remind myself of any difficult bits. I'm sure it's the same for Zak - Rabbit uses charts, always has for everything and Pete and Rog.... well, if they can't remember their own tunes then it's time to throw in the towel. One thing I have learned over the years is that if you can't remember a lyric then it is invariably a bad one. Re: Pino. The man is amazing - play him a song once and he knows it.... even Amazing Journey and Sparks. He is like a recorder. He has a photographic memory for music (and he's a great laugh too). Cheers!"

I think they can change a few songs if they want to. I feel a sense a suspense and danger about this. I've never heard Simon T perform alone or heard any of his recordings, I will this week. I've never heard this New Who Revue band play together before (I'm avoiding boots of the first leg). I'm going to meet several people who have only been 'virtual people' up to this point.

Danger? Think of all the stuff that could go horribly wrong. Simon T could suck dirty river water. The New Who Revue could be limp and boring and play the exact same set that I've read from the west leg with no jamming at all. All the virtual people could be depressed, angry with each other, and otherwise unpleasant company. Somehow that doesn't seem quite possible, with the exception of Jeff who I know for a fact is a limp-wristed, boring, quiet, snotty, tight assed pinhead with a habit of farting in confined spaces.

I laugh in the face of danger! HA HA!

Buck
