Hi Folks, just to let you all know that I've decided that the time has now
come for me to unsubscribe from this and all other Who groups that I'm a
listee for.  Basically, I can't really see Townshend & Daltrey as really
being The Who and although I'm sure there'll be a lot of you that disagree
with me I can't go on.  The death of Entwistle has had much deeper
repercussions for me that just him not being in the Who anymore.  Some of
you out there may have known that I've had some involvement with John and
his manager and I was booking a European tour for JEB for next year that
would've really surprised some of you.  I did NOT make this generally known
throughout the discussion group world as I didn't want any of you to think
that I was using these forums to pursue my own ends.  Above all else I'm a
genuine, long term Who fan (from '65 to now) that just happened to get real
lucky and end up working with one of them.  This coupled with John's death
and also some of the postings that I have watched / read being made since I
signed up have made me feel that while there are some real, genuine and
passionate listees out there I think there's also some self serving assholes
as well.  So, farewell and adieu to each and everyone of you.  For those
that I have developed "personal" relationships with I hope that these can be
maintened and continued.  My views on D & T may change if I ever get to see
or hear them but deep down, for me, something more died than just John when
he passed away.  I've really enjoyed (most) my time here and hope that some
of my contributions have been enjoyed by some of you and if they haven't I
really don't care that much anymore!!  So, from sometime over the w/end I'll
unsubscribe and get out of your hair.
